Badger and Beef reign on Presidents Day 

Sunday the 28th of August Dale Hill held its yearly Presidents Day. The Format for the day was a Greensomes Stableford slightly modified by our President to a Presidents Greensomes. 

Having never won the competition in his 20 years of being the club President. John Taylor and our Club Captain Barry Chaloner shot a massive 47 points, only to be eventually beaten on countback by Michael 'Beef' Roberts and Bryan 'Badger' Taylor. Worthy champions for 2016 with even better nicknames. 

Congratulations to them both. This was a very closely run contest throughout with our very own Shop assistant Angus Sutton and partner Andy Gore finishing 4th with 44 points. 

A fantastic day organised by our president thank you very much to everyone who took part in this competition. We look forward to 2017!! 

Team Bassett reign supreme in the Bank holiday Chris Heath Greensomes! Scoring 40 points Stableford and beating the pairing of Pete Watson and Jane Coleman by 1 point! Well done both pairings great scoring. 

Final competition from the weekend's golf was the Men's Little Cup. This was a drawn high and low format better ball stableford. The winning pair of Billy Houston and Miles Bossom shot 45 points fantastic score well done.
