Top Dog Taylor 

Bryan Taylor reigned supreme in this weekend's Top Dog Trophy. This was an individual Medal competition held on the Ian Woosnam course for all the Medal and Stableford winners across 2016. Scoring was tough on the day and there was only one score below par. Bryan shot a fantastic nett 68 to win by 3 shots from his nearest rival Ron Down who came in with a nett 71. 

Many Congratulations to Bryan, another win to cap off a good season of golf. 

Other competition news - 

Millie Lawrence and Elaine Busby move on to the next round in the Daily Mail Foursomes. Having won the competition qualifier at Dale Hill on Monday shooting a good score of 35 points, to win by 1 shot from Alison Hall and Lynne Novis.

Following our recent triumph in the 2016 Division 1 Invicta League here is a message from our Captain Johnathan Doucy. 

Invicta We've only gone and done it! 

Yesterday's Invicta match result at Sweetwoods was - DH won 3 Halved 1 and Lost 1 - giving us another 10 points and securing Dale Hill as winners of the Invicta League Division 1 2016! Furthermore this ensues Dale Hill are the only team out of the 15 clubs who participate who remained undefeated for the year!!! 

Ultimately all of our players were winners yesterday - for our team to go to an away course knowing we needed points and to deliver a comprehensive win was an amazing result! Our team spirit and will to win yesterday was the overwhelming factor in our success! 

I would like to thank all of you who have taken part in Invicta matches this year and equally thank those of you who have supported the squad without getting a match. You have given me the best golfing year ever and it's been honour to captain and be one of your team mates.
