Welcome to this week’s newsletter. It was nice to see some golfers over the weekend braving the wet ground to get out and play a mixture of holes across both the courses. Onwards and upwards, the forecast moving into the next week or so looks much more promising. Less rain and temperatures hopefully rising.
Let’s pray for a few weeks dry weather so that normality can return, and everyone can begin their golfing season.
We look forward to seeing you all soon and enjoy this week’s read.

Callaway Fitting Day success
Eight members benefitted from a Callaway Product specialist fitting on Monday, 9 March. The day was a real success and ended up being totally packed out.
Stat of the day was John Wyatt gaining 21 yards between his current Callaway Diablo driver and moving into the new Mavrik Max driver.
The main reason was down to the correct shaft being fitted into the new one, which was a move from stiff – regular flex and an increase in clubhead loft from 10.5 to 12.0.
Here is a picture of long-standing Dale Hill Member Ray Akehurst testing the new Product.

If you were unable to attend the day but would like to be fitted for the latest Callaway product on the market, click here or call us on 01580 201090 to book your fitting today. |
Nick returns to Dale Hill Claire has now moved onto Singing Hills Golf club; we wish her all the best. Nick Tester will be re-joining us again this year after a stint at Lewes Golf Club through the winter. Nick was a great asset to Dale Hill last year and we look forward to Nick returning and helping out in the Pro Shop throughout 2020.
We are still working very hard in setting up online tee bookings for members, we are currently experiencing problems in merging members profiles across two systems. This is with the software companies and hopefully will be resolved over the next week or so.

Don't just take our word for it... |
What do we want? Straighter shots. When do we want it? Now! Starting the ball on the right line is key and, by watching the video below, you'll learn one of the simplest ways to do exactly that. |
‘One of the important things about good golf is consistency and repetition’ We all know that’s easier said than done so when there's a way of creating consistency, it makes sense to take advantage. That is the point of Golf Pride’s ALIGN grips, which feature a raised ridge on the back (the red strip) to ensure repetitive hand placement, helping to keep the face square throughout the swing. Even better still, you can get a FREE ALIGN grip by coming to see us for a grip fitting! Click the link for more information.
