It's great to see the sun out and hopefully the courses will dry quickly.
For any member who has not looked at the noticeboard lately, all the summer knock-out sheets are up and so is the Easter Texas Scramble, don’t miss the cut off points for these.
It's been a busy week in the shop with new apparel for the summer from FootJoy and Oscar Jacobson coming in this week. In addition, we have introduced a new putting mat back into the shop for you all to try our new putters out.
We still have a final few items in the SALE so don’t miss out on a bargain.
Over the next few weeks we will be putting together a Masters Sweepstake, this was very popular last year and created some great interest so look out instore for this.
It happens to the very best…
One of the stories of the weekend saw Rory McIlroy miss a cut, not that I'd be too concerned for any of you who have a few pence on him to win The Masters next month. The point is this: even the very best can get a bit rusty after a few weeks off.
One common fault we see after a break from playing is poor posture; this can creep in without you being too aware of it - and it's destructive. Some of the best results we see our members have come following an early season 'refresher' lesson or two.
Don't dismiss the idea of lessons, especially if you're all kitted up with some of the very latest game-changing clubs. Get both areas right and a great season awaits.
Explore our lessons packages on our website and give yourself the best chance of enjoying better golf this year. Click here to book your 'refresher' lessons.
Happy golfing this week, we hope to see as many of you up at the club this weekend.
