Congratulations go to Tim Hayes who won the 2015 Club Championship. This is the fourth time Tim has won this event.
The first round was completed on Saturday around the Ian Woosnam Course with Ray Akehurst shooting a fantastic gross 73, to lead the event by three shots from Tim who posted a score of 76, with Andy Steven shooting 77 and Simon Robertson on 78.
The top 40 players and ties went through to play on the Sunday with the cut mark being a score of 95.
Sam Durling, who shot 81 the first day made the most of the good conditions and returned a second round score of 73, leaving him on a total of 154, Ray didn't produce the form of day one and had problems at the 14th which resulted in him returning a score of 83 for a final total of 156, leaving Tim to shoot a 76, a final total of 152 to win by two shots.
In the Nett Competition, Andy Steven followed his first round nett 67 up with a solid nett 70 in round two to complete the victory on -3, with Paul Russell in second and Ron Down in 3rd.
A great performance on day two from the Captain, Glen Morgan saw him shoot a nett 67 equaling the best nett score of the day to move him into fourh place nett overall.

A big thanks to John Taylor who came up and officially started all players on the first tee on the second day, John has recently recovered from knee surgery and it was great to see him at the club.
